I just got one in the mail which would make it the 6th summons. Im 29 years old which basically means Ive consistently received them every two years or so.

Two times I didnt have to show up. The other 3 times I had to attend. One of the three everyone got dismissed within 2 hrs. The other two times I had to stay past lunch time.

I think 4, but I've been excused every time, never had to report. First 3 times because I was a full time student, last time because I don't live in the county (or state) where I was summoned anymore.

Never had one and I am 32.

I've only received 1, and I'm 30. Ended up not having to go to that one though because they sent it out to me literally a week before I was moving; so they gave me a pass.

i got one in october 2016 and i postponed it for 3 months

you're only allowed 2 3-month postponements but the phone system was messed up and allowed unlimited

so i've postponed it every 3 months since then

i tried to do it again for this month but they fixed the phone system so i ended up going for jury duty last week

i sat in a room watching movies for 6 hours and then i was allowed to go home and now I won't be called for at least a year

Sounds like Im fucking unlucky as hell. Crazy too because I live in Orlando which is fairly populated. They should have an over abundance of people to select from.

Maybe like 3, 2 I was away at college so didn't have to go and the third I got selected and oversaw a robbery and drug case for a few days. o.o

did 5 days of state, the last day when I got home there was a federal one in the mail for me. luckily serving on the state jury gets you out of federal

then got another 3 years later but got sent home after 4 hours

Like 16. I get them every six months. Idk why they dont just get all the people who are abusing the system on "disability "

2. My first one they cancelled the night before, so I didn't have to do anything

The second one I had to go to court but before they even interviewed anyone, they settled the case, so I got to leave after 2 hours of just sitting there doing nothing lol

I am 33 and I've been called up 3 times. I've met people in their 40's who say they've never been once. WTF

Never gotten one, I'll be a total smart ass if I do get summoned.

Also, I got $9 for the 1 day I served. It cost me $11 for a round trip train ticket to the court house and a day of work.

I'm 35. Had one at 19. Showed up and was dismissed within a few hours because all cases that day had plea agreements. Haven't had one since.

The one I was on jury for was a drug possession case. He was a repeat offender so apparently he ended up getting a harsher sentence. I walked right by his brother as I was leaving the courthouse, he said something to me about how they were gonna give him a life sentence and I'm just kinda like:
