I dont. I see a lot of people who like to travel to different states and countries but I hate it! I have stayed in my home state for life and dont want to leave.

I also dont see any benefit. We have food options here. For scenery and stuff, you can see it through the internet, watching TV. I would rather explore hyrule than walk in a foreign country lol

I like travelling. Witnessing a different culture, eating local cuisine and a different architecture from what you're used to.

The act of traveling (packing, airports, etc.) can be a pain, but once you've settled in the location, it's pretty fun. Also

I really dont like traveling. I always feel rushed and stressed out.

The security people at airports absolutely loathe me. There is about a 75% chance that they will take me aside and start antagonizing me. Any other branch of law enforcement seems to actually like me, but not guess guys.

If you dont meticulously plan out travel details it can be absolute hell. And if you dont have significant funds, hello subpar accommodations.

It's wonderful experiencing cultures different to your own. Seeing incredible sights, different food, different customs, live is for experiencing these things!

I'm traveling right now. Currently in the Caribbean visiting family for about 10 days. I like traveling.

I love it and try to do as much of it as possible. There honestly isnt much about the whole experience I dont enjoy (even the airports). The only thing I hate is the trip back home (especially if its a road trip)

Can't stand it. I'm a military brat, so I grew up moving from place to place constantly. Which also meant that any time there was holiday, it was on us to travel, since my family didn't want to host people with boxes everywhere. Over time, grew to hate being on the road for any extended length of time. It's kind of why I haven't gone out-of-state in the last 7 years (and even then, it was for a funeral)

No I hate it too. I can have everything in my home state already.

I dont care about other cultures or new places. I hate museums and other cultures things anyway. I already have a beach, a pool, mountain.

Ive never left my home state in my life and never plan to lol. No real need.

Completely on the money here. I sometimes have to travel due to work and occasionally go places with friends, but I get no joy from it. I don't really like to go to unfamiliar areas.

in theory I like to see cool places and want to visit them. but the act of traveling is stressful to me. I am never really fully comfortable unless I am in my own home. so while I still have many places I would love to visit someday, I don;t know if I ever will. maybe if it only took less than a day to reach anywhere on the planet I might feel differently

I love traveling. I go on about 4 or 5 trips a year to see family, friends, sports events and concerts. I also try to visit a new country every six months.

Even if you don't personally like traveling, the least you could do is not say so disrespectful things like "zero benefit." there's personal preferences, which I respect, and there's ignorance.

Playing a video game and exploring that world IS WAY BETTER than wasting time and energy walking around IRL.

I can't think of ONE, ONE good reason to ever travel outside your home state. Especially if you have all the amenities here. And don't care about other cultures....besides we have other cultures in my home state!

We have:
1) Asian food
2) Mexican food
3) Italian food

So we have different continents lol

I love where I live and travelling is a waste of time, energy, and $$. I would much rather do stuff I like than go to some other state. And don't get me STARTED on other countries, there is nothing valuable I can see there I can't see here.

Plus we have this thing called technology. I can look at pictures of places on my computer! It's like I'm actually THERE! And watch TV and play video games.

And I can eat foreign food in my hometown! No need for travelling, again!!!

Not really, it's about being happy and having fun. New experiences doesn't mean ****. Especially if the same ones are ok. Life is about living and surviving, that's it. There's no special meaning that's mumbo jumbo!

I've never had the money to travel nor have I been outside of a 500 mile range of where I originally lived. :/

It'll be something to look forward to upon graduating college and getting a real job, I guess.

And this isn't a thing about like going overseas, there's plenty of adventuring to be done just in these damn states, assuming you're from the USA.

I think many peeps underestimate the cultural differences that happen from coast to coast.
It's one thing to just read a stereotype, but to experience that cultural and make the discussion for yourself...that's what matters.

That's the thing. A lot of people dont WANT to experience other cultures, even with states and coasts.

I like the things I see here! Besides, again, there is the internet. I would probably hate the other culture and disrespect it to their face! People underestimate that a lot of people hate other cultures.

At least at home I can sit and laugh at them freely.

yeah I don't see people's obsession with it and I just went travelling a few months ago just out of a spontaneous hey why not and remembered why I don't care for it.

I more so hate that people act like you have to do it and that you are living your life wrong if you don't. and the inadequacy some people feel after being bombarded with travel photos on social media.

if you enjoy doing it then good for you but no need to push it on others or act like you are morally superior or something.

Ive travelled with a bunch of different people in my life and I feel there definitely are people who do it just to build up their social media profiles but otherwise on the actual trip were absolutely whiney and definitely didn't enjoy it as much as they were making it out to be
