Pretty much flawless battle / leveling system, way better than X's. The overworld is way more accessible than the first game. Doesn't have the annoying Tidus yapping his mouth every 5 minutes. And the ladies are really easy to look at in their new outfits. In the west we only got a horribly translated version of 1 and the second part of 2(Was a duology) and then when the remaster versions of the games came out for PSP we got 1 and the first part of 2. milley loved them ;-; I'm in the minority, 'cuz I liked Persona 1 and 2 and felt the series went downhill after 3 --- "Salt cures Everything!"
