I know it's fashionable to call single console gamers poor. However unlike the last two gens, I really don't see any need to own more then one console this gen.
With 99 percent of games being multiplats, I bought the console that has exclusives I want.
I was happy with last gen graphics. You can buy adapters to use either controller, on either console.

I guess I was fine with the exclusives they had already. And I have friends and family on multiple systems. For switch, There were plenty of exclusives Ive had fun with. I loved HZD for PS4. And I had a lot of fun with Sunset Overdrive. And Ive played lots of multiplayer games with certain friends on each. I dont think single console owners are poor, either. I think they found a system that works for them. And has the games they want to play. I just ended up getting them all...

im gonna buy a switch probably this week, almost exclusively to play fire emblem in 2019 but monster hunter and xenoblade 2 will be a nice bonus

If I can get everything worth playing with a PS4/Switch then I see no need for a third. It would be redundant.

Yep. Thats why the systems get exclusives. That being said, not everyone wants the exclusives that certain systems have. Although, some people also get certain systems to play with certain people, too. Personally, I get them all for mostly exclusives. It being able to play with all my friends is a bonus. Haha.

I don't know anyone with an XB. I'm not sure I would get one if I did. I've never been the type to let others dictate what I play. So many times I've seen a review get it wrong.

In any case my backlog is bigger than I can handle in a reasonable timeframe. I do own all 4 major consoles. PS4, Switch, 3DS, and Vita. Last gen was pretty much the same thing. Buy it all and end up with too much. Ha. My PS3 collection ended somewhere between 250-300 games...

I have a PS4 pro and I already think about maybe, possibly buying a Switch, still undecided.
