You can pseudo fly with teleportation. Teleport in the sky a bunch of times and you're Goku.

Depends on the downsides. I mean if you can accidentally teleport yourself into something solid.... I rather choose flight.

I went with teleport. However both can their down size depending on how it works. Am I like Goku and just pop up in place when I want to, or like Night Nightcrawler can have to see where I am going.

If I can fly very fast without repercussions, I'm taking flight. That would be way more fun.

If not, I'm taking Teleport, also assuming I can't teleport myself into a wall and kill myself.

I've thought way too hard about this

In Darker than Black, IIRC a woman has the power to teleport herself, and whoever she happens to be touching, but the clothes get left behind.

The teleportation is more like nightcrawler, but has unlimited range. Like, if you're on the other side of the universe, you could teleport to your bedroom. You could just teleport somewhere at random, but who knows where you'd end up?

The flight is above hypersonic, but not light speed. You are capable of space travel while in flight. You're reaction and reflexes adjust as you are flying at that speed.

I suppose I should of mentioned this. WHOOPS!

flight is limited by travel time and physical barriers

teleportation is limited by constant gravity, but I guess you could do some super-frequent porting to hover in a spot. You can't have leet midair fights

Flight is much more practical. Being able to simply levitate a small amount goes a long way.

Anything you can do with teleportation you cant do while people can see you. Otherwise you risk a large commotion.

Similar to nightcrawler, you can teleport yourself, and up to a certain amount of your own mass. So, like, yourself x2 or 3 your own mass. That includes living and non-living matter.

Basically, yourself and a couple other people, plus the items they and you have on you're/their person.

Unless you're trying to off yourself, you won't tp inside of a solid object.

If you are teleporting to a known location, but it's been years and there's a solid object in the location, you'll get like an "invalid teleport location, are you sure you want to proceed?" message, in the form of an impulse, in your brain. You could just be like "Imma tp a few meters to the right, then" and keep queuing that up in the lil tp part of your mind until the impulse goes away.

EDIT: You have, like, these extradimensional teleporation feelers, or some shit, that come out at the begining of your teleport cycle, lettin' you know if it's a bad idea or not. However you wanna explain it, go with that.

Given these rules, Teleportation. The way we're breaking the rules of physics here is much easier to exploit than with (sub-light speed) Flight.

Science destroys most superpowers. So for this exercise, science is mostly ignored.

Even the most mundane comic book superpowers begin to face impossible odds, when it comes to physics. Look at superspeed. There's SOOOO many reasons why that wouldn't work.

Even besides that video, this version of Teleportation enables realistic interstellar travel (ignoring the fact that this technically breaks causality). This version of Flight does not.

Flight.

I think teleportation is overall the more useful powerful, but I've always wanted to be able to fly.

Alternatively, you could teleport to the other side of the world and slow down with gravity, then teleport back to the ground when you come to a halt, lol.
