It's a big reason why he became so toxic and abusive. She developed a severe drug addiction in 2014 and later abandoned the family in 2015. When she left, my dad became extremely depressed. He would lie down in his bed and just cry. He would cry for hours until he couldn't speak and his face was swollen and pink and he'd stare blankly into space until he fell asleep. After she killed herself he completely lost it. He became extremely abusive and aggressive. But only towards me. I think it's because I look identical to my mom. It's gotten a lot better, but it'd be every other night I'd get tossed around like a rag doll. Just constant screaming and slapping and horrible horrible shit. One more month and I'm out of here. After she killed herself he completely lost it. He became extremely abusive and aggressive. But only towards me. I think it's because I look identical to my mom. It's gotten a lot better, but it'd be every other night I'd get tossed around like a rag doll. Just constant screaming and slapping and horrible horrible shit. One more month and I'm out of here. One more month! Wow that is some surreal shit >_<. Reminds me of a situation on the tv show Shameless (which is pretty much completely centered on family dysfunctionalism to over-the-too degrees). When I say reminds me, I'm talking like... I got chills lol. If you haven't watched it, either don't, or don't until you're on your own. Most of the time, it's a dark comedy, but some times it's dramatic, and when it's dark and dramatic on not really comedic, it's very dark. Sounds like he deserves a degree of sympathy and he's not just fucked up because he's fucked up. I just hope that separation brings you both peace.
