Good to hear. So many people were either put off by the premise or dropped it after the slow first 2 episodes, but everyone I know who actually stuck with the show and kept watching it have really liked it. It's not underrated, it's just underwatched, and I wish more people gave it a chance. How far are you, and who is your pick for best girl so far?

I picked Kanami from the very beginning (although Yukari is making me seriously reconsider) and you saw that Spidey obviously picked Yume.

I've just finished the first two episodes so far. I'm liking Kanami so far but I got my eye on Ellen because because of that "What?!" during her fight.

I don't know why but I enjoy Engrish in my anime, like Mari in Love Live.

Wow, so you're barely into it. If you liked the first two episodes, just wait until the show actually starts picking up the pace... oh man, you're in for a wild ride.

And yeah, Ellen is pretty good. Her dynamic with Kaoru makes them the funniest duo in the show.

Still haven't looked up how to play properly yet. Pretty much have level 80 support maidens carrying the battle with my level 1s lol.

The characters don't level by themselves. You have to go to a certain menu option (hit the button on the right side of the main menu that looks like two cards, then the second option in the new menu) and level them up manually. The materials needed to do so are acquired through missions. The first option in that new menu (the one with two crossed swords) is the spot where you create your teams, while the last one is the gallery where you can see your girls and take photos of them.

Ouch. I got 31 three times in a row, but besides that, I've been fairly lucky with my pulls. Only three duplicates in twelve pulls so far. My bad luck has been from the game giving me challenges for equipment calibration and using calibration tickets when I don't even have that feature unlocked yet, so I can't get as many pulls to use.

Well you have 2 doctors, at least 3 fines, the 4 dolls, elf9, the other elf9, big red, all the girls alive or dead, the illuminati girls and the guy, hell you could add "Generic Noise" to the roster...

So I read My Hero Academia up to the end of Volume 7. It's fun, I'd say. Another above-average action shounen that doesn't offer much of anything new, but with great presentation and fight scene art.

All Might is my favorite character so far, with the goofiness of his hero persona and how the story presents his imperfections. On the other hand, Bakugo so far has stood out to me as quite obnoxious, with him being in his "gimmick" angry personality 90% of the time without enough interesting qualities to offset it.

Yeah I guess the above average-ness of shounens is so commonplace now that it's become a new average in a sense. Hunter x Hunter still stands out to me amongst all the shounens because of the thought that went into everything and the insane gripping arcs and fights. You sorta never really know where the author's gonna take the story, compared to most shounens where more or less everything just leads to another big match up against some big guy and another big guy.
