While I'm sure at least some do, it's nowhere near the big thing people make it out to be. Plus you have quasi-secret societies like the Bilderberg Group which, due to the secrecy surrounding the meetings, conspiracy nuts fill in the gaps.

There's a difference between a secret society, and a society with secrets. Masons, Skull and Bones, Shriners, ect are societies with secrets. A secret society is one you do not know about.
