Per the Lightforge, the only one worse at 6 mana is Moorabi, but worse minions at higher mana are Togwaggle, Azalina, Temporus, and the two expensive targeted recruit cards (Dragonhatcher and Silver Vanguard).

C'thun cards never appeared in arena drafts. I never really understood this, though, as most of the C'thun synergy cards were decent if not great independently. Dark Arakkoa in particular would have been a fantastic draft for Druid.

Right, C'thun cards were generally good curve minions in a meta that could've really used them. Their justification was that they thought players would feel bad to draft a card whose synergistic purpose was impossible to get, but it's such a lame reason. I would love to draft more 3 mana 3/4s. I was just saying that if that's the reason to remove a card from the draft pool, To My Side should be taken out, as it's much worse than those cards were.

I would still take 2nd lyra. You have lots of initial triggers with pw:s and if they do have a removal for the fittest one they probably won't stop the 2nd.

Unless you feel like you will typically be behind enough on board to necessitate cairne just to have a sticky minion who will likely mitigate more than 6 manas worth of your opponents tempo.

Its a shame you don't have Even 1 scream though.

I could have taken a Scream somewhere in the first few picks. I think I took Amber over it? Maybe Mind Control. I generally don't like to take Mind Control early in drafts but I seem to remember the pick being Scream, Death and something big.

Either way, this is just a Get To 2 Losses arena draft for the free pack coming up. If I go 3-2 I'll be happy.

I just had a pretty wicked arena game with a ton of RNG highrolling on both sides. I learned something too!

I thought that defile kept spellpower even after the spellpower minion was dead, but apparently not! So i had a pretty bad misplay with that. And my opponent misplayed by committing so much time trying to generate his random legendaries from his discovered sindragosa... But those misplays aside it had a pretty fantastic photo finish!

I heard the Fledgling issue was fixed at some point last night with a hotfix, but the sad part is I have no idea if all these new bugs are a result of that patch or if they all existed from the previous big patch and just still haven't all been found/fixed yet.

Also bought the 10 pack bundle and got a solid zero new cards, other than a golden Patient Assassin which turned into 400 dust.

Went 10 wins with the warlock deck from theb replay I posted early. Both losses at 10 wins had me pretty salty, but i am enjoying how rewarding it is to draft well with the current system.

I drafted what feels like a really good hunter deck after that run which will likely be my last arena run until the event starts in 5 days.

Im pretty hyped for it

I played like 10 games and went 6-4

Losses: cubelock (x2), odd rogue, dr hunter.
Wins: even warlock, even shaman (x2), odd hunter, dr hunter, odd paladin.

Against one of the cubelocks he weaponed on five and summoned a demon on 6, 7, 8, and 9. I drew ooze on 9. Against the other he rin Pacted on 7. The turn before he Azaris I draw acolyte of pain and play and ping it and find azalina a card too late.

playing fledgling on curve

best adapts: windfury, +1/+1, +3 health
good adapts: +3 attack, summon 1/1 saplings
mixed adapts: can't be targeted, stealth
bad adapts: taunt, poisonous

just because you're not getting windfury is no reason to complain. there's basically a ton of good outcomes. the mixed adapts are good in almost every match up except warlock which can hellfire the board to get rid of it still. and in some cases like mage you'd probably rather have CBT over the best adapts, and make sure it doesn't get immediately killed with removal. it's really not about trying to get windfury every time and if you think that you're not even using the card properly. you should just go play big priest or something instead if you want to instantly win games by getting lucky one time!

hint; the fact that fledgling is baiting removal and paving the way for your snowball minions to follow after means he is DOING HIS JOB regardless of whether you got windfury or not.

Honestly Hench on curve > fledgling

And stealth is generally always good because youre guaranteed another chance unless you are facing warlock/priest (though I would rather have divine shield in those matchups)

I also dont know if its good enough to run in Spiteful Druid? I really like Crypt Lord and MCT for the Paladin matchup, Druid of the Scythe is really good against a early Hench, and Sprite is Ramp for your Spiteful

apparently blizzard has made an official statement that decks cannot be changed for the HCT Seoul championship, and it will run on the most recent patch which was just dropped with no warning.

meaning that anyone who brought quest druid now has an unplayable deck in their line up which they cannot replace because the cards were changed overnight.

this is without exaggeration the worst patch in the history of hearthstone.

1. balance changes that NO ONE asked for
2. nerfs to cards that are already not seeing top level play, with no refunds offered
3. generated a ton of bugs to the point where even casual players would encounter one just a few hours after the patch dropped
4. sudden changes to entire categories of cards which fundamentally change how certain decks will play, with no warning, leaving pro players stranded as they have already submitted deck lists for a tournament which can no longer be modified

but really I cannot stress #1 enough. nobody was complaining about Tess Rogue. nobody was complaining about Quest Druid. those decks are fucking unplayable. why did Blizzard do this and why in such a poor fashion? and the fact that it broke the game with tons of bugs on top of that is just the icing on the cake...

for a more interesting line of discussion, it's possible this huge coding overhaul might indicate we see more complex post death features in the future. for example if they printed a legendary minion which triggers the deathrattle of all minions in your graveyard. this new code allows it so that minions which were silence or polymorphed before they were killed off won't be triggered by the new effect, because the game now remembers them as a silenced minion rather than a deathrattle minion. same goes for a card that, for example, replays an elemental from your graveyard. if the elemental is polymorphed into a sheep it won't come back out.

(edit: for what it's worth I got soft confirmation that dispatch kodo will be buffed by the aura of dire wolf alpha. this is the card I was thinking of earlier, I think I said stampeding kodo by mistake. but basically aura effects do seem to have some kind of priority at least in certain cases, allowing you to drop it onto a board with a timber wolf, dire wolf alpha, stormwind champion, etc. and hit the intended target for more than 2 damage. may test it out myself later but I'm not sure since my current list doesn't use this card)

lynessa picture I'm working on. her posture probably seems a little awkward but I'm planning on having her standing on top of a spikeridged steed (with another one in the background). also the giant eyebrows are the defining feature of warcraft elves but I figure the easiest way to do them is to simply draw them separately and paste them on top once I finish the rest of the picture, so she has no eyebrows for now.

some of the linework is still sloppy and will be fixed before the final picture, this is essentially version 0.10

I also want some way to convey blessing of kings, like maybe having multiple crowns on her head, and having bells ringing in the background would be nice too
