Cloud only won this match, due to Wind Waker / Zelda hate being at an all-time high in 2003.

I love Mario VS Crono. I knew about Gamefaqs before, but back in 2003 when I was 15 and found out about the character battles I finally found a place where I belonged.

Mario, the most iconic game character of all time, having trouble with the main character from 1 JRPG. Squaresoft is that popular on this site? I must be a part of this community!

Link VS Cloud was great since a lot of us here on board 8 just wanted Link to lose to anyone, and Cloud did the impossible!

2003 had so many great results. Alucard and Magus in the sweet sixteen, Aeris > Master Chief, Mega Man doing better than Mario on Sephiroth. Just amazing!

It's a shame that people with excellent taste left this site and only the Nintendrones stayed.
