She played Jane Foster in the franchise and director Anthony Russo said that they wanted Natalie to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the Avengers. She last appeared in Thor: The Dark World in 2013 where she played the love interst to thor and has admitted to being open to return to the franchise Natalie said "It is really an incredible thing to get to be part of. As an actor, it is like a completely different scale. Because when you are making those movies, you are working with so much blue screen and so much fantasy. Your imagination has to be so much larger" By contrast though, after her firing, in 2016 she said she was DONE with Marvel Films and said "As far as i know, i'm done.
