Just last week I was talking to someone about how is they ported Star Fox Zero on to the switch, it would probably take a lot of work and they may as well just make a new one. And then this happens. Whoops

Yes, since Microsoft didn't have its own handheld they allowed it. They didn't allow them to use any Rare characters in it though, so Banjo and Conker were removed. There was also Banjo-Pilot which Microsoft allowed Rare to make on GBA since they weren't competing in that sphere.

Microsoft actually seems like they've been quite chill about stuff like that in general, though it'd make sense moreso for Nintendo to just make a DKR-like franchise that they can have full control of themselves over trying to salvage what they can

Remember that the Switch version of Minecraft has Microsoft characters in it.

And theyve experienced interest in letting Banjo-Kazooie in Smash Bros.

They seem pretty lax about this stuff.

If true weird. Retro will probably make it good.

It is one of those strange enough to be true things, but I'm sceptical. The source is sketchy and the logo looks fairly fake. However, Eurogamer and Kotaku say they have heard "similar" but not that title. Curious to see where this goes.
