I have never seen commentators so clueless as they were at the end of the Cavs game. They called a foul on Stephenson and were going to the monitor to see if Stephenson did a flagrant also. They said afterwards it was just a normal foul on Stephenson.

Yet the commentators kept trying to say a jump ball was called and that they were investigating a technical on green who just got headlocked and thrown to the ground and did nothing but get himself out of the hold. Then even said Green was assessed a technical and that it would be a jump ball after even after the refs explained it.

Totally terrible commentators.

That was the literal exact play that was a jump ball earlier, as well as the exact play that was called a tech.

It wasn't the exact play. And the tech was on a shove and not on that play.

Before they even go to the monitor, the ref clearly signals a foul and not a jump ball.

He wrapped his arms around both of his arms which is already a foul. Squeezed together around his head and tossed him over his hip to the ground while still on top of him and squeezing him together.

It was always a foul. It was a question if Stephenson was flagrant, and the commentators were just silly. Watch the play again without the commentators leading you to a wrong conclusion. Green never shoves Stephenson. He tries to free himself and just stands up after freeing himself.

If you feel Kevin Love is healthy and at 100% then it is Love. Making Green likely 3rd. Numbers all year mostly support this.

He is third in Win Shares behind LeBron and Love. His o and d ratings are pretty good also.

Speaking of Paul George, how bad does that deal look now. I mean not terrible but it has gone from they got him for virtually nothing (or Serge Ibaka if you prefer) to they dealt away an all star and a decent rotation player for a 1 year rental which likely results in a round 1 exit. Good to see that Hennigan didn't just screw over the Magic with trade deals.

I know it's all hindsight as the deal looked crazy good at the time

they should put reaction articles to that deal in a museum for people to look at in 20 years.

When we lose this series it will render every game we play completely meaningless until next years playoffs

We are in an extremely awkward spot where the only competitive thing we can do is fire Donovan and hope we hit a miracle on a random coach

Otherwise (and it depends on which years we have our first round pick) we need to come up with injuries and tank for a season
