I think this Sixers team is basically in the spot the Thunder were shortly after drafting Harden. I'm super interested to see who they get this offseason. it's the only team I can think of where Lebron is actually a really bad idea.

It'd have to be about the Blazers blowing it up, and therefore wanting salary relief, draft picks, and young players. Something like Luke Kennard, Ish Smith ($6 million expiring), Jon Leuer ($19 million left over 2 years), a 2020 draft pick and a protected 2022 draft pick for McCollum (3 years, $71 million).

Like, Kennard had a pretty damn good rookie year if you didn't have that Donovan Mitchell cloud hanging over him.

11th in overall win shares.
8th in WS/48 among players who logged at least 1000 minutes.
Second best three point percentage among the same group.
7th in assists among same group.
Best three throw shooter.

Yup, we opted to stretch him in 2014.

The salary situation is pretty bad, then suddenly we get about $65 million in expiring salary in 2019. So it's really just one year of no maneuverability followed by a shit ton of expiring salary.

I said they have expiring contracts by 2019, with Drummond likely to opt out of his final year. They'll come off the book in 2020, yeah, but teams like expiring contracts so I could imagine them packaging some of those players together to acquire someone.

I mean he's now a 2x All-Star and will likely add another 2-3 during that timespan. It's hard to imagine him not making $25+ million a season with a rising salary cap. It ain't like he's gonna drop down to making $15 million or something ridiculous when he'll still only be 26.

Just like game 2, felt like a very fortunate win for the Cavs. Awful game by oladipo, and really, almost every pacer outside if sabonis.

The east playoffs is shaping up to be pretty damn fun the whole way through. Same with the West. A shame that the finals are going to be awful.

Rodney Hood in particular has looked so overwhelmed and out of place. It's been unreal. People acted like they had put themselves in a spot to compete post LeBron, but man, def not the case. Cavs are going to be awful next year.
