While there's nothing concrete to support it, the rumor is that Mitsubishi is trying to kill off it's civilian car line and focus exclusively on ship building and aircraft.

I don't know if that's true or not, but considering all the garbage decisions they've made car wise, I wouldn't be surprised.

The last ACTUAL Eclipse (The "X") was also stupidly overpriced. They aren't even trying to keep up with Honda and Subaru anymore. Hell even Toyota is slapping them around because Lexus suddenly decided to go from "Cars for Great Grandma" to "Compete with Porsche" overnight.

Even Nissan, which also sucks now, still has the GT-R and the 370Z (and the latter may be being killed off, badly needs a refresh that isn't just making the ass "Phat").

Japanese cars are in a rocky place rn aside from the three I mentioned, who are getting by on crazy sports cars.

Useless back seat

Blind spots galore

Only took premium fuel. Tried regular but it was terrible.

But damn did it look good.

2012 was the last year they made them IIRC

I loved mine too, just had an absurd payment due to my credit being horrible and me being a dumb 19 year old when I got it. I believe it had about 65k on it when I sold it, everything still worked perfectly.
