Taking that crush too far and assuming it's perfectly fine for you to stalk or ambush those people (because Internet personalities tend to be more "interactive" with fans than celebrities from other media in the past), or going full-bore and trying to force yourself into their lives in real life (or trying to murder them or their significant others because you can't have them) is where it starts to cross into being a problem. Otherwise, I don't really see the difference between that, and people who had a crush on actors, musicians, or models in the past. And honestly, it's almost psychologically more justifiable to develop crushes on Internet personalities, because the nature of the media and how often they tend to release videos that seem like "candid" interaction (not to mention things like Twitter or Reddit, if they're active there) can easily trick your brain into seeing them more like people you actually know rather than distant celebrities on a pedestal you can never really approach.
