But the fact that you're bringing it up here indicates that you do feel the need to try and justify it to yourself in others, which implies that, on some level, you understand that most people consider it to be poor behavior on the part of your kids.

I hate people that tell me not to get mad at kids being loud in a theater for kids movies. You don't reward shitty kids by taking them to the movies. You make them wait for the DVD release.

Pretty much. A certain degree of misbehaviour is to be expected and accepted, because they aren't going to perfectly get it right away, but refusing to try to extinguish that behaviour just because you think some people get too bothered by it is terrible parenting. Parenting should be aiming to make your kids better people, with your own petty spite playing absolutely no role.

I don't mind as long as they aren't yelling. Then again I try to go near the end of it's run in the middle of the day so I usually get the thatreto myself.
