Because this is an anime! There's literally no other reason, and that's what makes it great. False. Idols is probably the worst trend in modern anime? Not to say that idols automatically make everything bad (Macross is still pretty great, though 'coincidentally' the one that aired after the idol trend really took off is the worst one...), but I can't really think of any other trend that I have less affinity for. Even the shows that people say are good (Love Live, Idolmaster, etc.) I seem to end up disliking. pyresword 04/03/18 2:36:59 AM #256:	Finished March Comes in Like a Lion Season 2, because evidently the final 2 episodes both aired on Saturday. This show had a few rough patches which i somewhat vocally complained about in this topic. However at this point I can't say with reasonable confidence that they were just patches, as the show as long since regained its footing and been fantastic since then. Overall what we've gotten of the story so far has been a pretty great ride. I had a longer version of this typed up, but it was encroaching on spoiler territory. So, I'll just say that I think the main strength of this show lies in its uniquely calming atmosphere and the way it contrasts with the more dramatic scenes in the anime (which do happen). It's also got a really strong cast of characters, with even most of the side characters being pretty compelling a well. Anyway at this point I can pretty comfortably recommend this show, at least to people who like slow-paced anime dramas. --- Congratulations to BK_Sheikah00, this year's guru to achieve contest enlightenment! <cite>pyresword posted [p:898967434] in Anime &... I sat it out for two months before reading another chapter, enjoyed that one, and now it's been two or three weeks since then. Don't want to drop it because I like it, but can't bring myself to keep going back to it, especially since I'm not even halfway through. Anyway, I downloaded all of ReLIFE because I heard the anime ending cuts out a ton of stuff.
