You don't ever have to have done or said anything racist in order to get called racist, and for a lot of progressives to buy it. See the cartoon some progressive made below: Effectively, any action or opinion that is not in-line with post-modern progressive thinking falls within the borders of racism, according to them. But really, the issue is not racism. Progressives are and will be as racist as anybody; listen to things that they say about Ben Carson or what Louis Farrakhan (whom the Democrats idolize) has to say about jews. No, what "racist" actually just means is "bad person". No one likes racists, because the majority of people define racism as any action or thought that unfairly judges people because of their race, which is unquestionably a bad thing by anyone's measure. Because of the attempt to redefine racism to include even an assertion that you are not a racist, there's quite literally no way to avoid the accusation by their ridiculous definition.
