yeah, i remember when they scheduled a "walk-out" to protest the iraq war when i was in school. those kids did not know, nor did they give a fuck. it was just an excuse to get out of school to them.

My high school did one, except it was more about the victims rather than gun control. At 10, students were allowed to go to the auditorium to sit in silence for 17 minutes.

They do both, however what they don't do is treat them like deadly snakes, as you are implying. You can dick about with things that can be fatal without actually harming anybody. The people who do shootings distinctly see guns as deadly weapons rather than fun, otherwise they'd be out popping cans, not students.

lolwut? No, not for mass shootings. The media is probably more responsible for that, since it's helped inspire countless copycats and emphasized the deadliness of some of the weapons.
