It has been 30 years since Roseanne premiered and lasted 9 years on the air that won 4 emmy's and 3 golden globes..but viewers who saw the show those years ago will be surprised to see a much different tone as her character, much like Roseanne's now real politics will be played into the show as she moves from Liberal to a pro-Trump alt-right CONSERVATIVE!!

Roseanne used to be a socialist liberal pre 2013 before she had health problems and suddenly turned to the alt-right

The sticom captured the lives of a working class family in the midwest that didn't shy away from serious topics such as domestic abuse, teen pregnancy, homophobia and racism..but many of those problems were dealt with in a liberal slant as Roseanne herself used to be a liberal and even a green party candidate before she went full alt-right.

Roseanne is now on the side of conservatives who is also now PRO-GUN, anti-immigration and no longer a socialist. She also slammed Hillary Clinton and Democrats and embraced Donald Trump and Republicans even though she claimed she didn't vote for him but has subscribed to alt-right figures such as Milo Yiannopoulous and Alex Jones

The show will act as if Season 9 didn't exist where her husband, Dan played by John Goodman DIDN'T die as the season was widely panned. Instead he is alive and well who lost his job to an illegal immigrant and they have muslim neighbors and has a BLACK GRANDDSON

Sara Gilbert, who is a lesbian herself said "People think this show is more political than it is, it's more about how a family deals with disagreement like that"

Barr makes it clear that it's "balanced" despite being pro-trump while everyone else around her was liberal and she made she that her conservative views are expressed as she will regularly slam HILLARY. Barr says she had a good writing staff as the executive producers wanted to make sure that the show is about balancing ideas even if they didn't agree with them.

Wanda Sykes and Norm McDonald who wrote for the original show are also returning as Wanda wanted to make sure that the show has DIVERSITY as Barr said she especially wanted a black granddaughter after an episode in the first series had an episode where her son, DJ didn't want to kiss a black girl.

Barr wanted to have diversity because it's part of a working class where it isn't in the middle class

There will also be a GENDER FLUID character who will be the daughter of Darlene

Roseanne said she will not hold back much to the chagrin of her castmates who don't share her view.

I loved the original. I hope this one is even half as good.

There are episodes of the original that discuss things that are still so relevant today. I remember one where they were at a poker game and the gay couple were saying how hard it was being gay, and the black guy was like try being black, and dan goes on about how hard it is to be a straight white male these days because you get blamed for everything.

This episode happened in like 1993 and people are still saying this shit today

Nope, but not because of the politics. I have so little time to invest in a series, and theres so many other shows Id rather watch first.

This wouldn't be the first comedy to be right-wing.

The Simpson's have made fun of a lot of political figures. Being on fox doesn't matter, because in their agreement with Matt Groening, fox can have no input what they can or cannot do with the show. It is why they have also been able to make fun of Fox.
