there's a point west of gormott that is just ridiculous, and failing it makes the fucking annoying urchin enemies to spawn... speaking of which is there any way to fight these fuckers without bouncing every second? and don't tell me "topple them when they open" because that's like a 1 and a half second window...

There's next to 0 reason to use the super fast salvaging spots. The rewards aren't actually significantly better than the slower ones that have like constant QTE
The best place to do salvaging is at Argentum. You know the ship you rode on Ch1? There's a salvaging spot there where you can actually just open the chests without having to fight. If you haven't rested a billion times to get Plat Cylinder, using Gold at this spot is an alternate easy way to get rich. Also funny thing, if you use portable mode, there's no input lag lul. Skullgirls is amazing, and i'm sure @MwarriorHiei will tell you arcana heart is great too.
