Nobody has really used those words that I've heard and I can't recall having met anybody who argued on those grounds, considering it would require both avowing and disavowing evolution. Usually people go one way or the other.

Why doesn't that reasoning apply to other animals? A bird is really complex compared to an ameba yet it's generally accepted they developed from a single celled ancestor.

I have parrots that have a small vocabulary but understand what it is they're saying. The best is the bonded pair... one landed next to the other and said "hey, baby!" It was great. It's super fucking weird having them address you by name though. Like I'll come home and they'll yell my name to greet me (and my wife's at her under the same circumstances).

I now want to get a couple of parrots. My friend had one a while ago. I think it got free, though. There was a story behind that, but it's been so long. Anyway, I couldn't get parrots. Not with the way my dogs act...

Crows can. And to a lesser extent, pigeons. Pigeons are actually better than humans at the Monty Hall problem.

Some birds carry twigs into small fires, let the twig catch on fire, then move it elsewhere so that area sets fire and their prey will then flee their homes making it easier for the bird to hunt.

Lots of birds are smart. Lots of animals are pretty smart. Animals save humans pretty often, too.

Well, you said "birb is dumb". So, I guess you meant to say "Robin is dumb" because we've shown you that birds are pretty smart. Just because one bird doesn't do all that means nothing. So SKARDAVNELNATE post that you tried to go against still stands...

Birb - An animal that delights in being scritched by its hooman slave.

Very similar to a bird, only cooter.

Consumes many seed.

Used is a sentence...
Hooman: Henlo Birb, you want some seed?
Birb: Yos

Link - https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=birb&defid=7915903

If this is true, then I think most birbs probably do talk...

Yeah, that's probably a good call. We had two cats, are down to one now, but they fear and respect the parrots because they've been bitten. They have flight feathers too and tend to stay out of reach. Regardless though, the cats never had any interest in them. We were just really lucky. Birds are a ton of work though, it's like having toddlers that never grow up.
