The Final 2 X-Men characters are Gambit and Rogue!

To determine the winner, you can save once per hour in this Final 24 hour round and you can save the same character(s) as many times as you want as long as it is only once per hour.

This will be a weighted round. 65% of the weight is based on the total number of saves a character receives. The other 35% of the weight is based on the total number of unique saves a character receives.

So for example:

Suppose there are 20 saves total

6 saves were for Character A, all the saves were from 6 unique users
14 saves were for Character B, all 14 saves were from 1 user

Character A: 6/20 * 65% + 6/7 * 35% = 49.5%
Character B: 14/20 * 65% + 1/7 * 35% = 50.5%

So Character B wins in this case because 14 saves from the same user beats 6 unique saves. However, 13 saves from the same user would lose to 7 unique saves.

I picked the weighting arbitrarily. I suspect it will not make much of a difference in this particular final. If I ever run another save contest, the weighting will be announced earlier. Throughout most rounds, unique saves was what mattered, but a final based strictly on unique saves would be pretty boring.

- Blackscar will not save, except to break a tie if a tie exists at the end of 24 hours.
