As in, it is rare that he is not actively drinking at all times during the day and he barely has time to be hung over before he drinks again. My family has a history of heart disease. This is so going to kill him. My older brother is someone whom I admired so much growing up and he is just less than a shell of himself. This has taken a tremendous toll on me and I decided to end things with my girlfriend because I was getting stressed out and she wasn't emotionally mature enough (and really shouldn't have to be) to deal with me when I am going through this much of a stress. So I've been in a really dark place in my headspace and instead of being on here, a place that admittedly is really hard for me to come back to sometimes due to the complex experiences I've had here I've been voice chatting with people while writing and just having my soul soothed in the evening as I help close down the company my brother and brother-in-law (who I love like a brother) built. Really trying times right now and I am trying to wrap my head around the thought of losing the only other family member I felt strongly about growing up only 4 years after my mom passed. It's been brutal but I am trying my best. Thanks for making this topic, it felt nice to be wondered about.
