Smart TVs are complete (weak) computers that need to boot up an entire operating system with the mobile hardware they're given before they can show a picture. They don't really have that right, though. If they tried, they would face severe consequences from most of the world. Comcast, on the other hand, only has to fear people switching to a different ISP, which isn't that scary when there are like two other options at best and they're probably also throttling those sites. --- This is my signature.
