Gotta be humans, there's something satisfying about wiping out a particularly nasty criminal gang.

2nd would be the larger mythical and fantastic creatures. There's a bit of a nice thrill when taking down giants, dragons or greek beasts.

Wolves, bears, snakes, coyotes, there's plenty to hunt down or kill to protect yourself.

Though in terms of enjoyment, I do kinda like fishing minigames and those pretty much all end with you killing the fish in question.

Not necessarily killing them, but I do like human enemies the most, just because I know broadly how a human would react in a given situation, so it's funny to see what the AI thinks a human would do in that situation.

I suppose zombies though, providing they have nice, meaty headshot explosions.

I dont normally like killing humanoids but like the ones in games that do something bad to animals like dogs or cats normally get assassinated from me somehow. Like in dos2 this one due abuses A dog and I went to great lengths to make sure he died (which was hard to do without some annoying consequences)

I guess the best is real human opponents but that's kind of a different question. Story-wise I like killing big and/or strong things, so that's generally fantasy creatures or robots, but then there's also large groups of human-sized enemies. For those I think I prefer monsters, demons, robots, stuff like that.

Skeletons

Fantasy creatures are great in general, because they can have such creative designs

But the first thing that popped into my head were aliens, just because of Halo/destiny

They're different enough from humans that you don't have to feel super crappy for destroying them, they can have justifiably different abilities, movement, weapons and weaknesses, and they can explode with whatever crazy effects you can think of

Same but I still managed to beat the game and even like it. I think it's the only "you shoot zombies!!!" game I've ever beaten though
