My daughter plans to give me a gift; whether my husband does is entirely up to him. Other than that I'm not expecting anyone to give me anything since most of them can't afford it anyway.

I bought myself a couple of things though, like a Legend of Zelda Monopoly set and the new Robert Langdon book.

Brah, for the past few years I've gotten a bulk pack of cashews and a bottle of vodka. Just those two things.

I have no idea why my family assumes I love cashews, and I prefer dark rum over vodka.

I never say anything though, I'm just thankful to be with everyone and to have a week off work.

I'm hoping for at least three. Digimon World: Next Order, Digimon DS, and Digimon World Dawn. Won't be time for all that, though. I'll have to settle for Next Order.

in addition to that,

a cheap blue tooth stereo that I wanted for my chrome book, but was not compatible but the company sent out a second one saying it was probably just a hardware issue. 2 for the price of 1 on a 90% off amazon flash sale. So we are just keeping both anyway.

a local school card that gives discounts at businesses in the area. Saves me hundreds every year. I was there when she bought it from my aunt for the charity event. I also bought one for a friend of mine who has been interested in getting his own.

Probably one or two other things as well from my brother, aunt, and grandmas, but all I was really expecting was the stereo, the card, and the bike bags because she specifically asked me about those.

Honestly, aside from the gift I gave myself and the one dad got me, I wasn't expecting any. I was pleasantly surprised that my friends all got me something. I was super shocked to get my gift from one friend and it was something that was way too expensive to be buying for me, but I greatly appreciated it and is now displayed in a spot for all to see cause I'm so happy with it.

I hope I get none tbh. Well, technically I already got one a while back from a friend that always has to buy presents for literally everyone. But anyways, I don't like asking for presents. The only things I want anymore are things you can't buy with money.

tbh, even if you're not a kid, that doesn't mean you don't expect that things will stay the same year after year. If somebody gave you a gift last year, they'll probably give you one.

Or someone literally told me they're getting me a gift, hence my expectation and belief that they were not lying.

I'm expecting socks. Thats it. Only because my wife told me shes getting me socks so I wouldnt buy them for myself lol

Got my wife a toaster oven, but its more a gift for the house than for her.

We mostly just get gifts for the kids. Got my son a SNES Classic. Already have a SNES but its in my office and hes not allowed in there unsupervised. The Classic I plan to set up in the parlor.
