How much? Do they irritate you at all? I'm in retail and in a part where there are lots of babies and sometimes young children that cry. The sound of it greatly irritates me. What about you?

I have kids. It can be irritating, but Im very sympathetic to the situation. No parent wants their kid to be making a scene in public. Its embarrassing and you feel like people judge you as a parent, even if its something thats beyond your control like teething, or an illness, or an overdue nap.

Hate it, I keep headphones around when I am in public so that if I start hearing it I can put them on and drown out the noise.

It's fucking awful. There's this ad that always plays on YouTube where it's literally 5 seconds of just a baby crying loudly. I've tried adjusting my ad settings, but it ALWAYS comes up and it pisses me off.

Any time I hear a child who is articulate enough to speak their thoughts resort to wailing, I feel like the parents need to do something about it.

A lot. They are supposed to annoy you enough to take action but hopefully not in a negative way.

regular crying, no, but my daughter has colic, and at its peak, it's grating on the soul. it is so emotionally draining, ok?

if i'm in public, and you're irritated by my kid's crying, unless we're in a place where it's SUPPOSED to be quiet (movie theater, library, etc), i don't give a shadow of a fuck. deal with it, ok?

Colic is rough Ziggi, I feel your pain. Should only last a few months but Ive heard of it lasting a year or so. Two of my young cousins had it. Even a week of colic is enough to drive someone bonkers. Hang in there dude!

Not at all tbh

I once rocked my little brother to sleep in a tantrum for that lasted an hour and a half. Its nbd the baby doesnt control you. You nurture it and it will learn and behave.
