Board 8 > I think it's time to pay things forward with Trails of Cold Steel

A few months ago, Icon offered to buy someone (me) Trails of Cold Steel, in part to spread word of it and partly with the hope/expectation that that person would then pass it on to someone else. Well that time is now.

Admittedly I've allowed myself to be distracted with all things Fire Emblem recently so it got placed onto the backburner, but I have all the time in the world until the end of the year, so I'm planning on finishing it off and then posting a review of it on GameFAQs and/or Steam. I tried a playthrough topic way back when. I don't really do playthrough topics as it turn out. I think I'd rather give a rounded opinion of something once I have all the available content at hand.

Which brings me to the act of gifting ToCS to someone else. I don't have any real criteria, other then the hopeful expectation that you'll at least put a good number of hours into it, of course.

So yeah, begging and/or pleading your case isn't necessary but post if you're interested in a strategic RPG with an anime veneer, set in the same universe as modern day Board 8's favourite series.

And I take back what I said about playing 3rd first because I actually got 3rd gifted to me 2 days ago and I've been plowing through that like crazy (I'm on chapter 4 already) so I'd actually use it really soon!

I do need to run through TitS 3rd but I have that one and I will make a playthrough topic to keep track of my progress so you know when I get rolling. Shouldn't take very long I think!
