It seems it's getting an enhanced edition on steam and whatever else it gets released on.

Just want to note that it's an enhanced edition and not a remaster or HD Remake.

I always wanted to play it because it was a BioWare game (back when they were actually good).

Edit: I thought NWN was made by Obsidian. Maybe the did work on a game or two though.

Bioware did NWN. Obsidian did NWN2.
Both were excellent games that I've spent far more of my life playing than I care to admit.

A long time ago someone set up a server with a persistent world for NWN and added a bunch of MMO type features to it like mining and crafting. It was pretty neat but the population was never that large and support eventually tapered off.

I wanted to like it so many times, but never found it anywhere near as fun as Baldur's Gate or IWD. I've been wanting to try it again and force myself through it, so this'll be a good opportunity to do just that.

They actually did decent work on the Enhanced Edition of IWD, but most of what they did with that game was an engine upgrade, very little (if any) writing was added because the whole plot of that game was "Here's your next dungeon full of evil stuff to kill, maybe this one will be the one threatening us"

I played that for a while. One of the only two MMOs I've ever played. It's not bad, actually. I remember enjoying it; I just didn't have the time.

I bought a version used but it didn't come with the manual so I don't have the key for it =x Tried googling it but wasn't able to find a working key. Always wanted to play it, though.

Never got into it, I was mostly into RPGs like Baldur's Gate and Diablo 2 when it came out so I never bothered with it. I have it sitting in my GoG library, so I might play it eventually.
