Somehow, after this past 2 months, if the Redskins were to win this game (laughable now, but it was a nice thought two hours ago) and the Chiefs beat the Chargers next week, they'd have clinched the division 2 weeks early (Raiders still have to play at Philly and they won't have HFA at that point).

The Falcons are the only reason my season isn't already over so I can relate, and I dodged 3 upsets I wanted to pick that all lost.

It pretty much still is if the Rams win, though.

Your week isn't that bad regardless of who wins Eagles/Rams. It's perfectly fine if the Rams win.

The games that mattered today wee Oakland/KC, 49ers/Texans, Eagles/Rams, and Seahawks/Jaguars. Saints/Falcons was big on Thursday.

Anyone who misses 4 or more of those is ****ed.

Yeah I just double-checked, if Arizona and LA hold on, I'll be 7-5, with Seattle and the Rams, so I'm potentially looking at 7-7 heading into tonight. I thought I was something like 5-9.

Still though, on my worst weeks where I've gone 6-10, everyone else generally also does poorly. This is a week where I might finish 9-7 but everyone else has 11-12 wins.

Raiders were still absolutely in contention for the 1 in the AFC, though. While I didn't think they'd beat New England they definitely had a shot.

The Eagles defense, as bad as they were most of the game, seriously stepped it up after the Wentz injury and saved their team.

Respect due.

The Vikings are 10-3. The Panthers and Saints are 9-4. The Falcons are 8-5. All three have losses to the Falcons, too, among other tiebreaker problems

Don't the Falcons still have to play Panthers and Saints. And Packers play Lions, Vikings, Panthers. So it kinda sorts itself out?

Yeah, the Falcons play everyone in the NFC South for their last three games, and they can certainly lose two of those.

Rams/Seahawks next week is the big one if you're one of those teams who wants to sneak in, especially Green Bay, if the Rams win. That Week 1 win over Seattle might make all the difference.

That's the point though. The Packers have to win two more games of @Panthers, Vikings, @Lions than the Falcons have to win of @Saints, @Bucs, Panthers.

So basically at the very minimum they have to win out and I don't think they're doing it with an injured Rodgers. I don't think they'll beat Carolina with or without him.

My take on the entire NFC South was that it was inferior to the Eagles/Vikings/Rams.

But now I feel like Carolina is one of those super dangerous teams that can pull out a completely unpredictable win at any time, but isn't actually a threat to win the Super Bowl.

Remember this team has a road win at New England and that **** isn't easy.

Basically watch Carolina go on the road and knock one of the NFC higher seeds out, then lose by two touchdowns to another one the next week. That's what I think Carolina is now.
