You already missed out on the first increase but it is very promising. Bought it at 72 cents a coin and it has been at about 1.25. Microsoft invested in it over the weekend and it's about to hit $3.00

Look it up, it's a pretty cool concept. No mining.

The process of buying it seems confusing, their website is really strange

I think I want to get in on this though, how bad are trading fees? Is there a minimum amount you can purchase? Ive never bought any digital currency before. Is it possible to only but around $100 worth?

You can't buy any straight from their website. You have to use an exchange (I use binance). Yes you can buy as little or as much as you want. There are small fees with using the exchange.

No that's more nonsense that will tank

Goldmoney is the only one I'll fuck with. Very tempted to trade my gold for the gold card but I'm afraid to carry it in my money clip.

Yeah I eventually figured it out by using coinbase and then transferring to binance

Took about an hour for it to transfer though which was a bit of a bummer since it went from 2.75 to 2.85 in that time. Its exciting to see it go up and down though. I plan on keeping it there even if it drops. My brother in law sold off 20 bitcoin he had when it was around $30 or so. He gets so bummed when anyone starts talking about digital currency and just starts staring off into the distance.

Look into goldmoney

It's actually backed by gold and hasn't gone down in value since they started. Not just a made up currency that will absolutely tank in price

^ This.

Made $12k in stocks this year. Should have invested more.

If someone bought into Nvidia a couple of years ago they would have had a similar ROI.

I'm not 100% how gold etfs work, but I'm p sure you're just investing in companies that own gold. You own a piece of the company instead of actually owning the gold.

Gold money you own however much gold you are willing to purchase. They keep it secure for you at no charge. You can cash in at any time and they will mail you your gold for a small shipping fee. You can also trade/exchange your gold for money and even use it at the (very few currently) places that except gold money.

The returns aren't as good as the stock market or even some of this made up ecurrency, but the price of gold will never tank like those will.

Gold is a safe haven stock. So you should always keep a little bit of gold.

Bitcoin is going up SUPER FAST so I think it's heading for a crash.

It survived a "crash" when the bitcoin cash thing happened, it dropped from mid 8k's back to 5.5. And now it's over 10k. I don't have any bitcoin though I withdrew what I had (150 dollars worth) after transferring 100 dollars to iota.

$3.80-90 atm btw Woo

Wait until the winklevoss twins invest all of their bitcoin money into iota. It will spike and then crash like bitcoin when they cash out

If they did that with gold money it wouldn't change the price of gold

Did you have any trouble registering with binance? Every time I try to register it just fucks up. Couple of times it gave me a 504 error.

I know a little while ago the site was bugging a little. There is at least one other popular one but I don't recall exact name. Think it's bittrex

Only invest what you're willing to lose. It's definitely risky, but the growth is crazy. Even when I posted this topic I didn't expect it to hit over 5.

There's bitfinex but they don't service US individuals.

Well I'm sure plenty of those that 100+ bitcoins sold off way before it hit its $10,000 per coin price tag. Shit, if you made a 60 dollar investment when Bitcoin first came out and sold out today you would have $10 million.
