16 y/o Naomi Kutin from New Jersey is dubbed SUPERGIRL because she can DEADLIFT 365lbs and people deem her the "strongest teen in the world".

She said she spent most of her life lifting and working out since she was 8 and when she was a 10 y/o junior at Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School, she smashed the world weightlifting record by lifting more than 2x her bodyweight!!

She successfully squatted 215lbs and only weighed 88LBS while competing in the 97lb weight class!

She even broke a record held by a 44 y/o german woman!!

Now the skinny teen can squat 321lbs and deadlift a massive 365 pounds...

She's the subject of the documentary "supergirl" on PBS and they are the only Jewish family at competitions bringing along a large box of kosher food and drinks...but becuse of Sabbath rules, they don't compete on Saturdays when often the competitions are held on.

But many allow her to lift on Sunday when men compete for their heavyweight category.

She said "Most women and kids don't do that. But men get more physically psyched, so i actually prefer lifting with the men"

She and her 14 y/o brother, Ari compete together as their father, Ed is an accomplished lifter

Their mom, Neshama is the manager as she cheers on her kids. She said "They're lifting in the 300-350lb range, but you should be there when i ask them to carry in the packages"

Naomi often beat local boys in her neighborhood in strength exercises and push ups so her father asked her to join in on his and her brother's workouts in their BASEMENT. He's taught her basic techniques for lifting and is always by her side so that she was safe.

They thought she'd give up but she kept going because of her dedication and super strength ability to power lift. She says that she has stage fright when she speaks in front of a crowd but not when she deadlifts in front o fa crowd.

Naomi says people think she's just a skinny girl who has no strength but she always proves them wrong and said "People are very surprised when they find out. I don't even look like i have muscles"

However, Naomi does say she likes to do girly things at times as she likes to get "dolled" up for special events like dances..

Admittedly, I am a little jealous. But from the sound of it she spends a lot of time mastering her sport, so it's all good. Hope she starts a career in boxing or mma.

Jealous? Nope.

But it helps prove my stance that you don't need to be huge to be strong.

She's cute. Just surprised that a girl that scrawny could be so strong. Her biceps are tiny.

I don't even deadlift, bro, so I'm not even sure what I could do. Granted, I lifted up a 300 lb+ man so I'm assuming I should be able to deadlift at least 365.

I'm not jealous. If anything it makes me want to work on my deadlift more.

at 13 I could. idk about now. back then I actively played sports. I was able to deadlift around that if not more can't remember the exact number but it was over 300 definitely. I only did it once though coach chewed me out and wouldn't allow me to try again. yet he said nothing to other guy squatting 480. but I guess cause that guy looked like a 18 year old size and muscle wise where as I didn't.
