I love that Broly/Ipkiss is legendary, but the Unicron vs. Rocky Balboa result is the one that really got me.

Unicron only won by 1 vote because, per the rules of the contest, each participant had 24 hours to prepare or something? So Rocky was assumed to have 24 hours of montage sequences which, considering his power gain from a simple 5 minute montage, his power had grown to ungodly levels.

What a ride.

Rocky grew strong enough to punch through steel, go inside Unicron and find some kind of central processor or something. Makes sense to me

...I completely forgot this one, and considering my love of Xenosaga it might be a suppressed memory. Assuming it's Albedo (can't die) or Wilhelm (galaxy-busting power level?) what's the Undertaker justification? He's fighting @ Wrestlemania-with-streak power levels? Jesus.

guy from Wheel of Time series (Rand'all Thor?), though having the "erase anyone from history with one hit" ability is pretty OP.

"broken characters" just reminded me of Dark Schneider, a character I've never heard of before MPFC or since...

It was usually amusing whenever I actually got around to reading or watching the source material a character was from and finding out how badly oversold they were. Like a character was billed as being immune to physical damage but I find out that that was completely made up.

He may have also been in the broken tournament (some other ones I think were in included some version of Superman / Superboy, GameFAQS RST GANON, Rocky Balboa after training montage, and Undertaker at Wrestlemania (before he actually lost at Wrestlemania))

prepare to have your mind bent.

Remember the tournament most strange,

When a character's appearance seemed the most bizarre,
it came as no surprise that before him stood Mike Haggar.

"I demand for that creature to stand out of my way!!"
The Host demanded in severe dismay.
But Haggar would not respond,
for binding him to his mission was one most extraordinary bond.

A blinding light burst into existence,
burning bright in the sky with mighty persistence.
All men stood in awe,
for looking down on them was the one who could defy nature's law.

"You sure took your time,"
Haggar said as he completed the rhyme.
"Thank you my dear friend,
but now step aside for all hell shall be bent!"

Recalling Odin needed much of his ass to be kicked,
Haggar laughed and returned to Valhalla away from the conflict.
The Host's eyes reflected his devastation,
his multiples curses lost in translation.

"Do not even bother with a plan,
for I am The Michael Bay Man!"
The Host flared,
as his body was engulfed by fire.

The explosions were as the gods had described,
causing The Host to be circumcised.
The man could summon explosions at will,
making the situation fit the bill.

The explosions went through time,
all the way across Niflheim.
Faster than the speed of light,
he had exploded everything all right.

The Host did not fight the fool's fight,
because he knew the man standing before him was God's knight.
Even his very soul was ripped off,
as The Michael Bay man expelled it off his body with a cough.

His explosions would attack even that which he could not touch,
because he had once been trained by the legendary Dutch.
As The Host's actions were finally deterred,
saveus.maria said "I want my vote to be heard."

And so our story ends,
with our hero exploding everything and making no amends.

The Host was from a CYOA/Battle Royale style writing project. He was the all powerful narrator/game runner.

But that project was created by the guy who ran the broken MPFC tourney so you are still kind of right.

That's the one I really remember most. It went on forever and GameFAQs Flash is so stupid. Those contests never seemed to take personality into account it seems. Still lobed then though. The MPFC contests were what brought me to B8 in the first place.
