The sheer amount of salt I am seeing about the winner of Best Styyyyyyyle is surprising and disappointing. I was backing Persona too but it's impossible to deny Cuphead's style. It was always going to be hard fought and they explained themselves well. Seeing people slagging off Cuphead or worse, the team themselves, is disheartening to say the least.

I was 100% on team Cuphead before they started talking about it, but I got persuaded to join team Persona after they got into the details. I'm really surprised Cuphead managed to win after the discussion they had.

I don't think a PUBG win is actually possible, which means Jeff's gonna be going hard for Nier. Starting to think this might actually happen. No Zelda in his top makes me think this is going to be rougher than Mario Maker vs MGSV.

More I think about it, it makes perfect sense how Cuphead won it. Ben has Cuphead > Persona 5 on his list and Alex called the game a complete afterthought at PAX West. Ben and Alex would make their case, but you got the feeling they weren't going to go all in for Persona 5 winning it. Once Abby and Vinny dug in for Cuphead, it was a wrap.

Catching up on days 2 and 3

"EA Presents" should be a prefix for Hottest Mess in future years even if they clean up their act (they won't)

I think people are stupidly harsh on Abby (no points for telling me the reason why) but her saying Nier music was "generic JRPG" made me yell "WHAT" on a half-full bus which was really funny

Please let them never do the "Best World" category ever again, Jeff was the only one making any sense here at all. Really bad arguments all around.

I think I've got a good idea of how the game works now. First couple matches were me just landing near someone and trying to punch them to death, but I've progressed and got second place and a few more top tens now.

There have been moments that were exciting or cool, but I'm not sure they were worth all the boring time in between.

Well that makes you a lot better at grasping the game than I am. I've got like 40 hours+ on record on steam and I still don't really feel like I know how to play very well.
