Only in best surprise so it's not really an issue. The surprise is "oh they made a game based on that awful movie I actually want to play".

Also Best Wolfenstein Moment is an amazing category.

I'm glad Wolfenstein got it's own category, because I haven't played it yet and I can skip it and watch it later without missing too much of the overall discussion.

I'm still listening to Best World and I'm in agreeance with Jeff on what I assumed the category would be.

The music in Automata is far beyond what the original had in terms of complexity and quantity. The original had like five great tracks. This one has like thirty.

when her and brad's basis for arguing for it to be best surprise was that "it's actually a good game" and she hasn't even played it and he only touched it for the quick look, i think it's absolutely fair to question that argument!

dan actually played and loved resident evil 7! it didn't make any sense to me!

but that's like so day 2 so whatever

the best world talk was utterly fascinating to me. and vinny salvaged it near the end so it all worked out. love how he bridged the gap between jeff and brad. vinny is a great mediator.

and while i disagree vehemently with a couple of abby's opinions from the previous days, i think she did great for most of day 3. her championing edith finch was... very good. only hot take from her that was bad was saying pubg's world was richer than nier's lol

i really enjoyed most of the discussion for wolfenstein and the general best moment/sequence category. well, i was kinda disappointed with alex and vinny saying wolf 2's amerikka and hitler scenes were too over-the-top. also, boo on jeff saying the end to the courtroom scene being corny. that might have been the purest sincere thing in wolfenstein 2. was with brad 100% for that entire category. same thing with the general best moment/sequence category too. ending e is crucial to making nier: automata an important game, especially in this fucked up year of real life despair and fear. the music for that moment was understated during the talks too! holy shit i cannot listen to that song now without tearing up because of how meaningful it is in the context of what you're doing in the end of nier.
