SoulSilver the best Pokemon games?

kateee 11/26/17 1:56:46 PM #1:	not counting generation + remakes as a whole but as standalone games. always thought G/S was a bit overrated. Biggest thing that gets brought up is "16 BADGES & RED" like that's all that needs to be said. but a lot of Kanto is barebones (no safari zone, etc.) and yeah technical limitations and all but HG/SS had all that stuff plus updating it with at the time current mechanics (physical/special split probably being the best one). original GSC was sooo sloow. mechanics of that generation and how the highest level Pokemon in the E4 is a measly level 50 (which should be IMPOSSIBLE SINCE IT'S A DRAGONITE. HOW DID IT EVOLVE WHAT) and your rival still has a Kadabra/Haunter at Victory Road. also the Pokemon selection is UNDERWHELMING. Ampharos sucks get over it. okay but HG/SS had all the things that were cool ideas from original GSC and made them better because it came later. if you liked getting to battle multiple gym leaders, you can battle them again with way better teams. physical/special split in 4th gen with all the moves out at that time to compensate for the split + new moves (Energy Ball, Focus Blast, etc.). you can actually play as a girl this time and wear Team Rocket clothes. i mean it's actually become the best.
