Out of all the decks that I think will end up being bad or not working, Kingsbane Rogue is the one I want to play the most. I'm trying to put a fun deck together and every version of it I finish seems terrible. I just look at it and think, nope, dead on turn 5.

The dreadsteed nerf and the switch to standard made this brawl need a bit more thought, but its still not immune to memes:


Taunted Meat wagon into devilsaur egg is real, it surprised the pirate warrior that I got matched up with at first (with magma rager instead of fledgling because I had forgotten it existed). I ran paladin for a quest, if this was serious it might be better off with Warlock.

Last minute predix

Best class : Rogue I think, probably still will be Priest though Razakus I dont think is gonna go for the dragon package
Worst class: Shaman, just dont think it fixed the classs weaknesses. Warrior is a safe bet but I like living on the edge
Most surprising: Hunter. Think theres enough decent neutral beasts like Dire Mole and the 1/2 that kills 1 attack minions for free that Hunter can take advantage of. Candleshot, Flanking Shot, and the Spellstone are all nice cards
Most disappointing: Paladin. Legendary Weapon seems good but its in a mana slot already populated by Spikeridged Steed and Tarim. Call to Arms also looks solid but there arent that many ridiculous 1 and 2 drops in Paladin. Maybe an Aggro Pally with Keleseth can be good with it? Who knows. I also dont think Mage is going to be as good as everyone else says but hey, only one way to find out!

it's actually only .23%, or about 1 in 400. (30% chance to get it offered, so 70% chance to not get it, each of which is indepedent. .7^17=.0023)

Which is still really low, mind, but not "the universe is actively out to screw me" low.

In other news, does anyone here play wild? And if so, does Twig of the World Tree into Blingtron 5000 seem like a good combo?

That seems entirely too inconsistent. Twig of the World Tree's main purpose is going to be to activate combos, not to ramp to 10 quicker. Ramping that way requires two specific cards to be in your hand by Turn 5.

I've played so much RenounceLock since the Barnes/Y'Shaarj combo came into existence; I would know how frustrating it is to not have any of the three cards you need to succeed within the first five turns, let alone the two specific cards you are wondering about. If the deck's main purpose is to ramp, just run Wild Growth/Jade Blossom/Darnassus Aspirant/Mire Keeper/Nourish. There's plenty of options available that running memes for it is just gonna be wasting space in the deck.

Having a permanent stealth in dungeon run is indeed nuts. Two Patches and two Leeroys that never died.

Edit: Nevermind. All stealth sucks against the enemy that gives all of his minions charge. Six wins.

Hunter - 5/8

Paladin was full on divine shield mode. Hunter was a swarm deck with Ragnaros, Lightlord.

Just beat the dungeon run with Paladin. I went all buff the entire way through and ended up with 3 Tirions that never seen play because I got offered permanent stealth halfway through. My games lasted an average of 6-7 turns after that, including a 22 attack minion on turn 5 on the final boss.

The only reason I beat this guy was because of a topdecked 3 mana "silence and destroy all enemy minions".

That was the only danger I was in the entire run.

I got the 60 health demon whose hero power was 0 cost "remove the top 2 cards from your opponent's deck". My deck was built to be extremely aggressive so it ended up being one of my easiest matchups.

Too bad that's really the only place he fits. If I choose to commit to Control Warlock I'd be spending all of my dust.
