I'll go first. The tv i most use is 55", i measured it. Though i'm not sure if manufacturer's usually include the frame around the screen when they measure tv size. I think they don't.

I think 32''. I'm in a studio apartment so anything too much bigger than that would be unnecessary.

They measure screen size, not frame. People like screens, not frames.

20" 4:3 CRT, but I just use it for standard definition games. When I watch TV I use a 24" monitor and a computer with a TV tuner.

And you measure from corner to corner on the screen, not the frame.

19 inch CRT. I don't game on the thing anymore, though. It's only got one input: cable (RF).

I mostly game on a 24" LED monitor these days. Console gaming, that is.

50" plasma that I got super cheap back in 2011. Regularly $1600 at the time and was on sale for $400. They honestly thought it was a typo and was supposed to be $1400, but they gave it to me anyway.

24 it says on the box and considering the diagonal is clearly more than 30cm I suppose those are also numbered in inches here...

Or, you know, maybe people just enjoy being able to see things more easily. There's little reason not to own a big TV nowadays (assuming you have a TV at all). I have a 50" one that was only $600 IIRC, and I can lift it by myself. It might have been excessive back when that size cost you thousands of dollars and required a team of people to move, but it's pretty normal now.

27'' Monitor.

My gf gave me a 50'' plasma her parents weren't using but I hate it, it has an awful refresh rate or something it just gives me an insta headache.

Also had a 32'' TV that got some use but I gave it to my mom.

Kind of want a nice new 50'' or so hdr TV but still can't be bothered to fork over the cash, TV's are always something I have as hard time paying much for. Most I ever paid was under $200.

We got a 40" TV from my wife's parents who didn't need it anymore, so that's in our living room. I've been using the same 32" TV as my computer monitor for about 8 years now.

28". It's the one in my bedroom and I don't feel the need for a bigger one yet. Probably when 10bit HDR, 4K HD sets drop in price I'll upgrade. I'm in no rush though.

Not at all. That's actually the smaller size these days.

While bigger TVs certainly help with that and those with poor vision that's not the only reason to go for one. 4K TVs for example are around 50" for a decent one and they look great. Of course if you sit close to your TV that's not a good idea.
