Tuna Christmas, if anybody's familiar.

This is a situation where there are very few local actors in the nearby area. Assuming the director doesn't already have someone in mind (maybe), I'm in a position where I could push for another idea of a show, one I could create for the event and do by myself or perhaps with some smaller bit parts.

I dunno if I actually will, but I'm now taking ideas for a Christmas show.

Stipulations:

*No Bill.
*No Brian.
*No Blood Princess (dammit).

Pitch an idea, and if I create yours I'll use your name in the show or do something to give you a nod.

Is a one-man christmas show an option? I know monologues are a thing but I have to imagine if the show needs to be longer it could become more difficult to do this. An eldritch christmas tale about a man holed up inside of a cabin trying to make contact with an incomprehensible god could be cool.

Turns out no, false alarm -- director's gonna get several people to fill this one actor's role. Cool with me I guess.

Thanks for the ideas though, especially that Christmas Abridged idea...I almost think that has to have been done before.

I may hate Shakespeare but Shakespeare Abridged is probably the show I've watched the most -- even interned for it one summer and handled props for it backstage. It's not necessarily a personal favorite but it's a lot of fun and always gets a lot of laughs.
