Dee Gordon is also an interesting add for them anyway to play CF. He's got the speed and the talent I think but yes it looks like a good sign for them getting Shohei. I hope they get him. That would be a perfect spot for me to just root for him relentlessly. Especially since Houston just won it all so I don't need to root for them in the west ever again.

I have my doubts he'll be any good at CF. I think halfway through the season, they move Cano to 1B and put Gordon back at 2B.

I think CF is secretly not that hard. Ian Desmond of all people made a smooth transition before the Rockies decided to move him again

The second BotW DLC is out now. I didn't really mean to seek out any info on it, but apparently you can get a motorcycle lol

Need to play this soon before I have anything else spoiled for me. Sounds like it's a lot more substantial than the first one (which was expected)

The video made it look less substantial than I was hoping so I'm lowering my expectations before playing

Well I kind of just skimmed over the video tbh. I already bought it anyway so I'm mildly excited to play more of the GotY

Now Ken Rosenthal is saying Stanton would refuse a trade to the Cardinals or Giants and the front runners are the Dodgers and Yankees with the Cubs and Astros in play. This is such a brutal saga and there's no end in sight

He seems like the type of player who would do that. I guess I can't blame him since he has the no-trade clause, but still.

I never felt like he would go to the Giants anyway since the park is so unfriendly to hitters. No hitters go there willingly, especially in his position where he needs to have a few more good seasons to really cash in on an even bigger contract.

Yeah it makes sense. I'm still feeling like I want to sort of root against him now though for wasting our time. Like if we end up with Yelich or Ozuna instead I'm going to spend every moment of 2018 trying to prove why we actually wound up with the better guy

I blame the Marlins more than anything. There was no reason to openly discuss trade details if he was likely to exercise his opt out to the two most obvious teams. Now it just makes him look bad. I don't care though, he's gotta do what's best for him.

What makes him look bad in my eyes is that he only wants to go to the top four teams in baseball. Once again, it's his right to choose that, but it's just a very lame decision.

He probably didn't want to follow Ichiro's coattails on the Mariners, but I'm still not sure why he chose the Angels. I was thinking he wanted be the beloved franchise guy on a team for most of his career, so when you think of that franchise, you think of him. But Trout already has that spot locked up for the Angels so my theory is bogus.

I wonder if the M's feel stupid about that Dee Gordon trade now. Maybe they'll have team doctors invent a fake reason for him to fail his physical

I'm excited he's on the same team as Trout and also is on a team that won't affect the Cardinals so I can happily root for him. As for why he picked the Angels, the theme of this entire story has been that no one knows his decision making process but him.

Maybe he wants to learn the Big Leagues from the best all-around player.

His agent said he felt the strongest connection to the Angels. I wouldn't be surprised if the prospect of playing with Trout helped him decide. It's hard to say what he wants but he clearly really wants to play in the US and maybe he is a Trout fan

Before this I would have been shocked to see him survive until 2020 but now with a DH who is likely to be a lot better than him even if he's just a decent hitter I think even 2019 is a stretch. He needs to do that good old dignified retirement that never seems all that dignified.

I havent watched too many non-Thunder games this season, but Im watching Celtics-Spurs. Its exciting, good basketball, and the first half was capped off by a Ginobli buzzer-beating three-which is cool because he is as old as dirt.

It looks like it's probably going to happen and that it may have been what sabotaged the Cardinals and Giants even more so than the Dodgers. The Dodgers like to play games with the Giants in situations like this so while the story may not quite be over yet depending on Stanton's whims, the Yankees seem to have pulled of a classic mystery team move.

Anyway it kind of sucks but god damn Stanton and Judge in the same lineup is ridiculous. Waaaaay shorter porches at home for Stanton now too. If they both have good years next year they're probably going to outhomer the Royals

Man the Marlins are trash

The Zelda DLC is a letdown. It's fun enough because the game is fun but it feels like they added nothing. It's like if they made Mario Odyssey DLC and all it did was add a couple dozen moons that were hard to find

I haven't tried it yet. I'm sure it is fine but it's been nine months since the game came out and naturally the excitement has worn off.

The way you described it, it sounds like there's basically no story content? In that sense I'd consider it a letdown since the name "Champions' Ballad" sounds like it would be more about them. I don't know what all is in it but from what I heard the centerpiece is just more shrines. Did they even give you enough to fully upgrade both health and stamina?

There's very light story content. It basically plays out as if you unlocked a few more memories. I haven't finished yet so maybe there's more but I doubt it. I think once I finish what I'm doing that'll be that. I think there's enough shrines for one upgrade and then there are several shrines that don't give out spirit orbs. They're also all required to complete the dlc.

For an open world rpg sort of a game dlc like this you'd really like to see a true expansion at some point. Horizon Zero Dawn just came out with a dlc that provides a whole new region which is what I was hoping for here.

I didn't expect them to do an entirely new region, but I was hoping they'd do something more with that jungle area. It was such a cool region of the game, but didn't really have any major objectives. Probably the most underdeveloped area of the map.

Is this for sure the last DLC? Maybe there's still hope in the future, but then again I might not be interested after the letdowns the current DLC were. The Korok Mask and Hero's Path mode were very handy but those things should have already been part of the game, and it sounds like I could live without the rest. But I should actually play and judge for myself

It's not bad, it's just blah and price wise the pass was kind of steep for what we got. I thought the master trials were pretty fun but I'm never going to finish them because I died with just a few floors to go then looked up what was waiting for me there. Decided it wasn't worth the effort

The DLC strategy is so weird for this game because it's like postgame open world stuff that they just added to the map. Like he said it's still enjoyable because the game is so good but it already had a ton of postgame content. New and interesting story quests would have made more sense.

I beat the Master Trials, but they were a pretty big pain. I eventually found the key is to basically never eat meals if you have fairies left (particularly if you're fighting Lynels since they deal OHKs anyway). Seems like common sense, but the first few times I tried I was a dumbass who would do full heals after getting revived

I wanna see it. I checked showtimes a few days ago and it was only showing at like 1 theater in my area. Just checked again and it's showing in more now...still not at every theater though.
