This Hornets/Magic referee performance is fucking awful. The hornets have 34 free throws to the Magics 9 because the refs are calling absolutely everything in the Hornets favor and nothing for the Magic

I mean I hate ticky tacky fouls constantly stopping the game but when they are all only getting called one way and not the other it's ridiculous. At least be consistent and call them both ways

I don't normally complain about officiating but this was atrocious and absolutely changed the result. It should be reviewed by the NBA.

40 free throws to Hornets, 14 to Magic. Lots of non calls for Magic and everything given for the Hornets including shit with literally zero contact. Only thing that Magic got lucky with was that Speights should have been ejected but only got called Flagrant 1. In fairness Howard elbowed Payton in the face and only got a Flagrant 1 earlier though

I was a bit mixed on Durant's OKC game - a lot of beautiful plays but also a lot of casual foul-drawing. I think I almost prefer the Paul Pierce/DWade theatrics over the way Durant just coolly went about that business.

GSW era Durant is just annoying. He's just so insecure or something. Kerr and Curry now, too - just a weird vibe coming from them. It's a shame, I liked watching them before Durant showed up.

i love detroit fan pessimism lmao. it's not likely, but i could honestly see 3-1 or 4-0 for that stretch, with the right luck. detroit is straight-up better than the nuggets, is probably better than milwaukee, and has beaten both GSW and the celtics on the road already
