Apparantly if you play two hours a day you can unlock everything in the game in only 6 years without spending any money on lootboxes

I don't see any answers being provided, and I stand behind the decisions of the mod teams. People are posting walls of text and sometimes including more than 3 questions (which is against the states rules). Most questions are also rehashes of other questions.

I still can't find any answers from the team though...

They're starting to answer questions now. If you guys are following this I'd recommend just sticking with these three links instead of trying to comb through the entire thread trying to find responses.

When the alternative is locking content behind exorbitant grinds and/or paywalls, I'd rather see it all unlocked. There's having unlockable content that provides a goal to work toward, and then there's making unlockable content so painfully slow to obtain that people feel they need to spend money to get it. I'd rather the content either be fully unlocked, or be made into proper DLC that's at least honest about charging you for it.

I really feel bad for the developers. I'm guessing that they have no control over the monetization of their game which is what everyone is mad about. From what I've seen and read the actual game itself is really well done.

Most of the developers are probably big Star Wars fans and were really excited to work on this project. They worked hard to create a great product and they were successful. They're excited to push it to market and see what people think of their creation and the entire thing is soured by the backlash in response to the micro-transactions.

This, it's probably not the devs fault, it's most likely EAs but it seems most gamers are too stupid to know that and just flail their arms around and scream at anyone who had anything to do with the game.

Fun fact: Nobody from EA is even doing the AMA. It's all Dice people. They were sheep thrown to the wolves while EA sits back and counts its money. Dice isn't going to say shit about it because EA holds all the cards.
