Can I point out I started saving Red Mage because Leo loved him. And then Gravy loved him. I am the tag-along here. the way you talk about red mage it sure doesn't sound like that at all I've got to hype my main, it's only proper. But yeah I use this contest to champion causes, not to save my favorites. Could you imagine how boring this contest would be if I saved Tidus and Ramza religiously? I mean, you're talking to someone who saves his favorites (one of which is Ramza) because they're his favorites. Yeah I get it. If last year wasn't the year from hell for me Ramza could have done so much better, too. I don't know I just find something... unromantic about just sticking to favoritism in these. Year after year, always the same motivation. I championed a Steiner victory because of a single mocking post from Inviso. It had a story behind it. A villain, allies, it was fun. Or when I got Rydia her win for dearly departed Shoe even though he told me to my face it couldn't be done. It was fun. Red Mage is just fun for me. I loved him in 8BT and I can craft a story.
