Yeah but ... I don't know Steiner wasn't part of THE ELITE or anything. All of the main FFIX savers were against the run, Lopen.

But I've moved onto NEVER WON A CONTEST FF1 now.

Sure, Steiner wasn't part of the FFIX group that normally succeeded, but it was just like "well at least it's Squirtle and not Pikachu" and I'm just like "eh it's all basically the same to me"

personally I feel that a 25% contest win rate isn't good enough so FF9 should try and win a few more

plus that contest has probably been Squall's best chance to win since CXIV and about halfway through I realized that wasn't happening so that was kind of a bummer

I say since CXIV because that's as long as I've been participating. Squall has made the top ten every year, but other than CXIV and CXVII, he's petered out early on into the top ten.

Agrias was my least favorite of the four and I think I ended up saving her more than anyone else this year >_>

no I already asked, Lightning is cemented as number 1 regardless of what happens

I think Red Mage (aka Chris the character) is likely ahead of Cecil (aka Lefty the character) no matter what too

He could be caught by Cecil in the overall STATS and Rikku in the New Era. He could conceivably be caught by Cloud in the New Era, too, but he'd have to be eliminated pretty soon for that to happen.

It's still a greater than 3% difference though.

I have made my peace that Lightning is going to forever be # 1 in the stats, that's a credit to their fanbase and all of that. I just want Red Mage not to be seen as a joke entrant. 8BT is great.
