To be fair, it took Erik five years to finally close his account, and even then he didn't do it to fulfill his debt as much as because he got trolled into a crybaby tantrum. So as long as Ico gets a job sometime before 2022, he's still ahead of the game.

That's fine though. All he really promised was that he'd close his account, not leave the site. It's why multiple people pointed out to him over the years that all he really had to do was close his account and make a new one, and most of the backlash would go away.

And if he really WAS here now and lurking or posting under an alt in such a way that it was entirely indistinguishable from his old style, that's a 110% improvement, because it means he's stopped acting like a complete shitheel.

I'd welcome him back happily if he started posting here again, but came back as a relatively subdued and mature person rather than constantly posting childish ploys for attention and deluded rants that always half-felt like trolling (and half-felt like a very sad individual who firmly believed everything he was saying).

There've been at least a few posters here over the years who were sort of annoying at one point who eventually mellowed out over time, though admittedly it seems like unfortunately the reverse is way more common.
