Why do we want to annihilate this country? Is it solely because it's communist and the people are happy? All of their leaders "threats" are literally "if you attack us, we will attack back", not threats to attack us first.

The people who defect from them are literally paid a million dollars to defect to South Korea, wouldn't you defect from your home country if you were offered that much money?

Literally seems like a 100% fine place. I would live there (and then defect for money).

Their people are happy? And pretty sure they threatened other countries first. And the threats are pretty messed up, like turn your country to ashes and stuff.

NK is a garbage "country" that needs to be wiped out. That land could be used for better stuff.

what this guy said they regularly feed people cut grass when they tout weapons and get their trade embargoed, force them to take meth to work grueling hours and they litterally have concentration camps full of innocent people instead of illegal immigrants

I have heard plenty of people say that if you go into North Korea, they are very careful to keep you in areas that they make look awesome so that anybody who comes back from North Korea will talk about how great it is. If you want to see the real North Korea, you have to basically covertly sneak into the country and you will find the rest of it is pretty much just slums that look like they haven't seen technology from the last 60 years.

uhh...you are aware that most of North Korea is minefields and disarray from the Korean War 40 years ago right? So that's TRUE and it's not bad because they're trying their hardest to rebuild.

Because North Korea is like a cornered horde of 100,000 rabbid squirrels. If you shove them, South Korea is going to hurt even if it would easily win the war. The strategy which the rest of the world has been betting on for the past 60 years and going, is hope the military junta coups themselves like they usually do. And, North Korea realizes this, and is especially vigilant to prevent that from happening.
