i'd go for the 610 for $50 in a bunch of places instead.
granted, it sold out on newegg and it's $60 on best buy. but if you're gonna spend more than $20 on a keyboard just go to mechanicals. major branded ones with cherry reds or browns can be typically gotten for $40-60. mechanical keyboards that aren't cherry can be gotten for less - monoprice has some for around $15-20 even.

So that Masterpass deal on Newegg isn't working anymore. It said it was supposed to go through end of the day, "or while funding for discounts are available, whichever is first." So I guess that happened, but it'd be nice if the page wasn't still live.

I lined up at Best Buy at 12:30 and had a pretty good spot, maybe 30 deep, and waiting to get the ridiculous 50 Sharp tv for $180. They didnt even get far enough down the line for me to hear that they were giving out tickets for that tv before they ran out. I was pretty livid. Like, thats their pants-on-head-crazy deal this year, and they got like 8, and then try to push way more expensive tvs on the rest of us because wed been in line so long. Gross.

that's how the lines work, yeah. people who get those very rare items are unfortunately the people who have zero value of time and just see sale. you won't find a deal as crazy as that one but there's plenty of excellent TVs on sale. personally i'd rather spend the extra $20 than be on a line for 6+ hours, which is the bare minimum of what you need for 'em.

best buy's lines weren't as bad years ago but that's because they had competition. nowadays they're the electronic store so everyone goes to them. they're also really, really good every year so it's annoying. personally i just buy stuff online the Monday black friday happens because i've been an Elite member for a while and BF kind of makes a self-fullfilling prophecy for the next year.

i'm in agreement with red here, i still don't consider 4K to really be much more than a gimmick. its effects aren't nearly as pronounced and if you're seriously going to make that jump for a good chunk of change, it'd better be a 70"+ TV. if it's <$300 i can't say much but anything over better be gigantic or it's a waste right now.

Granted, thinking that deal was going to make it to the 30th place in line was a pretty unrealistic expectation. Somewhere in the 6-10 range would be about the number I'd expect a store to have of one type of 50 inch TV. They typically only have 3-4 of any one type of TV in the 50 and up range since those things take up space. It's not really a good idea to fill your stockroom with 20-30 cheapass TVs that you know are just going to come back in a few days because, well, they're cheapass TVs.

ok I felt like spending money on myself so I bought a partial build for myself off the newegg sale(I have to pay tax unfortunately).

But I will be repurposing my GPU, already have an SSD(And some other drives to carry over) and decided I will re-use my case. So that kept the cost down. Really just an upgrade to a 7700k will do wonders for me.

Got the Newegg Bluetooth adapter, which I'd been targeting since I saw the ad last week. The shipping charge is annoying though.

Also got the HDD dock for $5 because maybe I'll need it some day. Would do the HDMI and Ethernet cables too, but I already got a few last year through these rebates

i jumped on the ASUS modem. $50 w/$10 rebate, i'm in. bluetooth thing i was tempted on but i always am. only to conclude i'm not using anything bluetooth at home.
