Fabian Vergara's Halloween decoration has drawn a lot of attention as neighbors weigh in if it's appropriate. The controverrsial exhibit features a fake crime scene with a corpse rolled up in a garbage bag surrounded by yellow police tape He said "I'm doing it for fun. it was a joke. i like Halloween, so i don't see anything wrong with it. it's a free country" But one of his neighbors, Theresa Gucciardo-perry said it's repulsive and is asking the Cortlandt community to force him to remove it and said "I want to know how far freedom of speech goes. Fabian needs to be removed from the neighborhood. He needs to be DEPORTED" The 2 of them were bickering as cameras caught the intense fight when she confronted him. Fabian is a native of Ecuador who holds a US citizenship said he was apologetic and would remove it...but then changed his mind after she told him "If you dont' like the way we live in America, you need to leave Fabian said "It's not fair. That's not the right way to treat me liek that". Theresa said she welcomed him and his family who moved in 10 months ago but now is outraged over their "anti-American" ferver and said "Is this about Halloween or about you making a political statement? You dont like it here, get the hell out. Trump is our President and we must support him. If you come to this country, you must assimilate into our way of life!. let the guy run his mouth if thats all hes doing . I remember a case of someone driving their car through peoples yards to run over political signs in yards. thats a bit worse

At any rate, this was less about the Trump supporter than it was about the display and, of course, the relative treatment of both. Anybody who is annoyed by the malicious simulation of a real person being murdered has every right to be because it's in exceedingly poor taste (which isn't to say that *all* simulations are bad, but it's a matter of intent -- both individuals hated and wanted to see a president dead). Frankly, as a man who extols the virtue of being not being a dick, you're coming in on the wrong side of this argument.
